Set within a private residence in Little Aston, Sutton Coldfield, this project redefines what an outdoor kitchen can be. Shifting it away from seasonal use and firmly into year-round living. Anchored by a Morvelle pergola system and finished in a sophisticated EO Chroma black and grey palette, the space is designed as a fully-functioning extension of the home, not an afterthought in the garden.
The brief was clear: Create a family-focused, luxury outdoor kitchen that works as effortlessly for midweek cooking as it does for weekend entertaining. Crucially, it needed to perform across all seasons, offering shelter, comfort, and atmosphere without compromise.
Outdoor luxury; Our Design approach:
The design centres on a strong architectural frame provided by the Morvelle pergola, which effectively defines the “room” within the garden. Rather than treating the structure as a canopy alone, it becomes the organising grid for lighting, heating, screening, and circulation.
The EO Chroma black-grey kitchen units sit within this frame with a confident, almost monolithic presence. Grounding the space and contrasting beautifully with the natural surroundings and herringbone flooring underfoot.
The result is a space that feels intentional, composed, and quietly luxurious.

Dekton Keon work surfaces form the backbone of the kitchen zones, chosen for their exceptional resistance to heat, UV exposure, and scratching. This ensures the space can be used without hesitation. Whether plating up food directly from the Broil King or hosting a full evening of outdoor dining.
Knurled steel handles add a subtle industrial note, introducing tactility and precision against the matte cabinetry finish.
A stainless steel Blanco sink and tap complete the preparation zone, reinforcing the professional-grade functionality expected of a kitchen of this calibre.

At its core is a built-in Broil King Regal 20 BBQ, delivering high-performance grilling with the reliability expected for frequent use. Alongside this, a Cabinex outdoor fridge ensures cold storage is always within reach. A small detail that makes a significant difference to day-to-day usability.
A Delivita Diavola pizza oven introduces a more social, theatrical cooking element, turning the space into a focal point for gatherings. Together, the appliances support a full outdoor culinary workflow: From prep through to service; without needing to return indoors.
